Where did it go? It sneaked up on me and now its disappeared!
Actually I had a nice Christmas, very rocky to start the holiday time but just got better and better.
This was the first in about 15 years that I didn't have to cook Christmas dinner, I have to admit it was bloody brilliant not to have to worry about it. All thanks to H & H for a fabulous day.
Boxing day was spent on my local beach, beautiful sunshine, clear sky, with a football to kick. Burn't off a few of those calories that we consume whether it be the yummy chocolates or the delightful Bailey's, probably a bit of both!
New Year is going to be spent with the people that matter the most to me. My family and friends. What better way to bring in the New Year.

Tighten up your belt

It's that time of year when many a person over spends, with credit cards easy to get it makes it easy to spend. But what people forget is they end up paying for Christmas in the next coming year with the added interest on top.
This year I've decided to cut back on spending (especially money I haven't got!), it gets too silly, "just get one more present..." . Yes, I have done it and wore the t-shirt!
The thing is, how many presents have been bought for you that you actually can say "fantastic, just what I wanted" I bet not many.
I feel like I'm being grumpy, but I've lost the thrill of going out into the rush of Christmas shopping. This year I'm going to try to do all mine on the internet including my food shopping.
